Hank

Heartbreaking news for us at RDR. Hank, previously known as Tank, passed away. He was not feeling well and his family took him to the vet - where xrays and bloodwork revealed he had cancer in his lungs and abdomen. Hank was an owner surrender who took him to her vet to have him euthanized b/c she did not want him anymore. The vet reached out to us for help b/c he refused to euthanize him. Hank had stomach problems to begin with - in addition to being your "cranky" red doxie - so placement was tricky. The wonderful Martins opened their hearts and homes to Hank and were so happy they did. Hank's new life was filled with new doggie brothers, new human siblings, and new parents that loved him in a way he never knew before. Now he waits for them in heaven. And now RDR has yet another guardian angel <3
